Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics That said, it’s the perfect time to pick up some games and just chill out while we all ride out this virus. Alas, it seems that we’re still getting holed in for the time being, Switch in hand (among other consoles and handhelds). Once you get those two main pieces going, everything else seems to fall into place.Back when I wrote my Quarantine Quickies column two months ago regarding some manga I was reading, I was expecting our recent pandemic to be lessening. I have been working through Hell modes with this strategy and while I'm not at the later ones yet I find that I can usually get Viruspell and Time Slow with enough time focusing on doublelift (may need to go through 2-4 stages with the default kit). Everything else (including deck slam) is quality of life. The most important pieces are Viruspell and Time Slow. Duel Disk, Baz's whip, Miracle, and Speed Loader are rare and you're unlikely to get more than one of them (i've still never seen duel disk) but they are also not necessary at all. Laser Pointer is a tier above that but I find I run into it quite often. Obviously don't start removing your damage sources until you have viruspell but you'll need to bank removals.īlue Blood and Hit Seeker are Common artifacts and you're likely to run into them if you prioritize going to hostage saving missions, item encounters, and mini-bosses. Buy upgrades/take upgrade pacts when you can.Hit every shop and pick up enough removals to get rid of every card except Viruspell, Time Slow, and Deck Slam if you get it.All the required cards are in that focus. Run with your starting setup and dual focus doublelift.DO NOT get the doublecast +mana as this will ruin the card. I find that flame on hit, frost on hit, and remove anchor are the best ones to get. All Upgrade Artifacts - These are low priority compared to the rare artifacts but multiple upgrades compound the effectiveness of viruspell.Baz's Whip - See Miracle, higher activation chance, not as much damage.Speed Loader - See duel disk, not quite as high an upside, but no downside. Not a huge chance to activate but you stand a good chance of activating on bosses. Miracle - See laser pointer and hit seeker. It doesn't matter that you can't shuffle manually anymore because you're not making decisions like that with this build, only mashing A over and over again. Duel Disk - This will add a jam to your deck and prevent you from shuffling manually, but make all shuffles instant.Hit Seeker - You'll be firing lots of missiles.Blue Blood - Allows you to start instantly if viruspell is not in your initial draw.Deck Slam (Non-cost prohibitive, deals massive damage as viruspell ramps).Time Slow (Non-cost prohibitive, allows you to get a lot of damage in little time).I'm not sure if the card is too strong but it feels a lot like rock cycle when you go all in. ![]() Construct buildings and create objects to use cooperatively with up to seven friends in your shared garden. Reported performance is apparently very good but it’s important to understand the difference between the Playback Engine I/O and Aux I/O.Ĭlocking and preventing drift can be achieved for interfaces using conventional clocking if available but for virtual devices this isn’t possible. Latency might vary between passes and it even has its own Ignore Errors During Playback Setting. Aux I/O doesn’t inherit these characteristics and should be seen as complementary to your Playback engine. The Playback Engine offers reliable performance with delay compensation and, depending on the particular playback engine, low or negligible latency. Pro Tools users will no longer have to compromise their Playback Engine’s performance by creating Aggregate Audio Devices to incorporate additional hardware, though it should be said that there is no delay compensation on an Aux I/O and additional latency will be introduced on the Aux I/O, though in practice this is minimal, dependant on buffer settings. See how this works in practice in this short video. If MIDI is routed from Pro Tools to MainStage via the IAC Driver, previously inaccessible Logic virtual instruments can be used within Pro Tools, or at least driven from MIDI in Pro Tools, with audio routed back into Pro Tools via Aux I/O. For example it’s possible to route outputs from MainStage directly into Pro Tools and MIDI from Pro Tools into MainStage. Presets are provided in the form of the Pro Tools Audio Bridge - Virtual Devices of various channel widths from 2 to 64, which are pre-installed and ready for use, but the advanced user can of course set up their own, though the sync performance using the pre-installed Pro Tools Audio Bridge is better than that which can be achieved using custom Aux I/O.Ī good place to start would be to route audio from an alternative audio application into Pro Tools. Using The Pro Tools Audio Bridge To Route Between Apps You can roundtrip audio to and from software applications, it just requires setting up two separate core audio devices to avoid creation potential feedback loops. Aux I/Os can be given custom names in the I/O setup, one limitation to be aware of is that while hardware can act as both an input or an output, virtual devices have to be either an input or an output. To see how this works watch this short intro video from AvidĪccess to Aux I/O is from the I/O Setup window where a new button opens a window in which new paths can be set up which can access both hardware and virtual devices such as the Dolby Audio Bridge or Dante Virtual Soundcard. The choice has been to use HDX or run natively but if you wanted to combine Core Audio and HDX things got more complicated. Pro Tools HDX users will be aware of how well the HDX/Hybrid audio engine works but also how it can be very awkward to incorporate other hardware or Core Audio devices with it. Pro Tools, unlike most DAWs, has a single setting for the Playback Engine which controls both the inputs and outputs. This is very significant as it allows Pro Tools to access other hardware and applications other than the currently selected Playback Engine, something which required various workarounds to achieve in the past. It allows you to have your primary Playback Engine set up to your preferred setting and still be able to stream to and from other Core Audio devices. This is because it relies on access to Core Audio. It’s technical but it’s extremely powerful and addresses some persistent pain points which have dogged certain users for a long time.Īux I/O is a Mac-only feature, available on Big Sur or later. What Is Aux I/O?Īux I/O allows you to add any Core Audio device as extra inputs and outputs to your current Playback Engine. This article will help us appreciate what Aux I/O can do and what limitations it has. I don’t think we’ve even imagined all the ways Aux I/O is going to be useful! However it does take more than a sentence to explain what it is and what it does. ARA 2 integration with Melodyne is going to be incredibly useful, but only for doing one thing. Aux I/O is the new feature of Pro Tools 2022.9 which is hardest to explain but it’s going to be the gift that keeps giving in terms of opening up new ways of using Pro Tools. Flow-diverting stents rely on increased metal coverage to restrict flow into the aneurysm, promote thrombosis, and provide a scaffold for endothelialization across the neck. ,, In the United States, the primary experience has been with the pipeline embolization device (PED), however, a number of additional devices have now begun to enter the market. , When occurring in the posterior circulation, these lesions may be particularly devastating due to their inclusion of brainstem perforators and the need for advanced skull base techniques to access the pathology.įlow diversion (FD) technology, initially introduced for the management of large unruptured aneurysms of the petrous to communicating segments of the internal carotid artery (ICA), has been increasingly and successfully applied to off-label indications. ,, , Thus, traditional open and endovascular techniques have relied on vessel deconstruction with or without bypass. As a result, IPs are generally not amenable to clip ligation or coil embolization, as any manipulation usually leads to disruption of the contained thrombus and potentially catastrophic bleeding. Lesions result from disruption of the vessel wall and are contained by only thin friable intima. The use of FD and DAPT in the setting of acute SAH remains controversial. The patient made a complete recovery, and angiography at 6 weeks confirmed total IP obliteration, reconstruction of the VA, and a patent stent. Immediate obliteration of the IP was achieved, with near-complete resolution of the dissection within 48 h. Oral dual-antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) was initiated during the procedure, and intravenous tirofiban was used as a bridging agent. The patient was treated with coil-assisted FD. A 53-year-old male presented with a right V4 dissection spanning the origin of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery and associated ruptured V4 IP. We report a case of a ruptured dissecting vertebral artery (VA) IP successfully acutely treated with coil-assisted FD. Flow diversion (FD) in the setting of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) represents a reconstructive treatment option and can be paired with coil embolization to promote more rapid thrombosis of the lesion. Traditional management consists of microsurgical vessel sacrifice with or without bypass. Lesions in the posterior circulation are particularly malignant and pose even greater management challenges.
